KVD Studded Kiss Swatches

How gorgeous are these shades, they are from the Studded Kiss collection out this fall, and what I love the most is she gives reason behind each of these names, I am for sure going to get Chula, Tijuana, Piaf and Magick, maybe Plan9 a shade more daring for my liking, so happy to see swatches of this collection! Not sure if these are all the shades though!

"Halo" - neon clementine. {inspired by lyrics to the Depeche Mode song, "Halo."

"Chula" - rich, warm sienna. {kat says, "This shade name is my way of hi-fiving all my fine-ass Latina followers!"

"Tijuana" - vibrant, Spanish red. {this shade is an homage to Kat's childhood years in Mexico.

"Piaf" - cool chocolate w iridescent purple sparkle. {in French, the word Piaf translates to "little sparrow." Kat named this shade after her beloved hairless cat, Piaf

"Mercy" - romantic, garnet berry.

{not only is this one of Kat's favorite words - meaning "a kind and forgiving treatment of someone, even if they may not deserve it" - but "Mercy" is also one of her favorite IAMX songs!

"Solo" - metallic gold-kissed tangerine. {Kat named this shade after her love of solitude. She always says, "I am never alone in my solitude."

Plan 9" - opaque, deep sea-foam green. {if you haven't watched Plan 9 from Outer Space, watch it and you'll love this shade even more!

"Magick" - sweet, sweet dusty pink. {in the 1600's, specific philosophies chose to spell the word "magic" with and additional "k"-this differentiated between the power of true will, verses a trick one would perform on stage.

"NaYeon" - pitch black, with gunmetal sparkle. {Kat developed this specific shade+name in honor of her makeup muse/friend
