Farmacy Lip Bloom REVIEW

Farmacy Beauty was kind of enough to allow me to review this lip bloom!

Farmacy Beauty was kind enough to send me this review and I am excited because I love lip products!

I will first have to say that this brand is nothing but natural goodness! It feels soo good on the lips and I do feel like it creates a barrier and this goes great under liquid lipstick!

This has the typical strawberry scent which I love with that hint of basil and I adore that! Its a little different but in a good way!

Ive seen this brand on Sephora's website but I haven't seen this lip bloom there!

I was using the Vaseleine Lip Therapy in Creme Brûlée but i didn't like how stick it was but this I found was just like a typical lip balm but better in the sense that my lips are kissably soft.

I do use these on my kids, I love their ingredients in it and I find that I will be looking into their brand quite a bit more now and I would love to try the Vanilla Mint Lip Bloom!

I appreciate that inside the packaging they added an inside story of their company. It shows the humbleness in their part. I can say that I really enjoy this lip balm and its my go to! I also highly recommend!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer REVIEW

Its has been a very long joinery with the eyebrows and they went from literally nothing to almost as bushy! which is good and I cant complain, its just that i'm waiting for them to grow out to shape them to mu liking,

So i am a brow junkie anything brow related i love, so with that being said I am somewhat knowledgable when it comes to brows.

I was super excited to try this because of the triangular shape. I can tell you that this is meant more to obviously define the brows that you have, this isn't meant for super sparse brows since it will drawn on because of the thickness of it.

I find that it was tricky to use as well you need to get the hang of  it. It is very unique as it has a thin side, more of a thicker side and a flat side to basically shade your brows.

This can also get very dll and a way to get it sharp you will have to run it back and forth on a piece of paper hello what a waste of product.

Although this can work for more defined brows this is a pass for me. It was $23 and same consistency as the original Brow Wiz but I have to say this is a waste of money. Don't do it.

I find that I ALWAYS go back to my NYX Micro Brow because of the formula, its perfect for me, it doesn't budge as easy and the ABH and its so nice to use.

This was a quick review because I didn't' like it. I thought I was going to like it because of the unique concept and I have seen other instafamous people still use this and their Brow Wiz, although this should do the job itself. I was fair and gave this a chance and now it will sit and will use it when I run out of brow products lol!

Loreal True Match Lumi Cushion REVIEW

The compact packaging is absolutely pretty! Lets get into the review!

I noticed this was expensive AF and I was very hesitant to purchase this so I went and got it at Wal-mart for $14.

I have to address one thing here, the sponge applicator was difficult to use and since  I am reviewing this product I will be including the sponge.
I am in the shade W3

The sponge has that little finger handle thing where you are supposed to slide your finders into to apply the foundation and that was dreadful. IT had too much space that I couldn't comfortably apply the foundation on.

The foundation itself was so pretty on! It does give a nice natural finish to the face, it has a nice luminous finish. It is literally perfect for everyday use!

Here is the thing, I find the price is too much for this. If I wanted a nice natural foundation I am better off thinning my foundation and/or applying it using a BB (which helps thin out most foundations) I am a firm Tarte Airbrush Finish Foundation brush because it gives more coverage and I literally look flawless.
If I would get two of these at the price of $14 I can almost get my favorite Too Faced Born this way foundation which happens to be my favorite HG foundation ever!

The coverage to me seems sheer it covers minor imperfections.  I know because I currently use Too Faced foundation and that is a good medium coverage, full coverage would most definitely be the KVD Lock It foundation. I love the whole concept of the light and luminous it gives and this gives a good 4 hour wear for me considering I have normal skin.

Overall I do not think this foundation is worth the $14. Maybe I am  not an everyday foundation user or it could be that if I wear foundation Im going the whole nine yards. (You know what I mean?! lol) Unless it was buy one get one 50% off then I would repurchase this. I found this best used with my Tarte brush!

Vanilla Coconut Lavanilla Deodorant

I like to tend to reach for more natural products. So I was recommended this, and I was already having problems with my last deodorant I figured it was maybe because of the harsh chemicals, or maybe my underarms didn't like it lol whatever the case maybe I wanted something new.

So as I'm going to say, this has coconut scent so that's why I picked this scent out. As soon as I opened it, I was merely disappointed. It has no coconut or vanilla scent. More like a sweet unknown scent, like chemicals. Weird.

So I started to use them and Ive had no problems with it so far. The weird scent doesn't linger. As soon as you apply it it melts into you skin and doesn't leave the heavy deodorant feel to it.

This is $14 and for me I have no problem spending more on skincare or healthier alternatives.

The scent is what threw me off, I probably will not be repurchasing this. Only because I'm sure there is a cheaper alternative and maybe something that is natural like this.

I am aware that they were trying to be natural with no harsh chemicals as perfume maybe one of them, but this doesn't even smell like vanilla. I will be using it up since its natural and probably healthy but I wouldn't recommend this deodorant.

I feel after so many hours my underarms feel really dry and lack moisture while using this product. I showered last night and woke up at 4 am to pack my husband's lunch that I even had to reapply it. I feel like my Dove deodorant does a better job.

Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes REVIEW

I have mentioned these wipes before, at the beginning of this year to be exact and I still swear by them. They are super gentle. No scent which I like especially, when it comes to facial wipes.

It removes my makeup really well,  even my eye makeup. It even freshens up my face which I like.

These are a bit pricier like $6 which is okay. I have used cheaper ones and I will never go through that route ever again. It irritated the heck out of my face. It literally burned.

I learned to take better care of my face. Treat it well with less harsh ingredients. Especially when it comes time to remove my eye makeup. It is very gentle.

Remember ladies and gents, be kind to your face. Treat it well, take good care of it.

Maybelline Vivid Matte Liquid REVIEW

So as I was at Wal-Greens, I purpsoely went there to see what new items they had, makeup products and I was amazed they had so mnay new stuff, and waht caught my eyes were these!

I am a liquid lipstick person at heart nothing else, and when I seen these I had to get them! These were $7.99 and Wal-Greens had buy one lip product get the other 50% off. It was a no brainer.

I got a few to test out. Here are my thoughts on these.

They have a nice color selection, I went for the nudes mostly because that's typical of me.

Packaging is okay, likes nice, not cheap, hard plastic.

Once I opened them, they had that horrendous smell, the same scent they use for their Elixirs that was an immediate turn off for me. I am very particular when it comes to scent and this was an immediate no. It smells like flowers. I love the scent of flowers but not for my lips.

It has a doe foot applicator very similar to the Stila liquid lipsticks just not as bendy as theirs are. It is very easy to use, just a good amoumt of stiffness to it.

When I first applied them on they almost felt like the Stila liquid lipstick but more of the NYX Soft Matte lip creams.

The drying process? None. These do not dry like a liquid lipstick. These have  almost the same finish as the NYX Soft Matte lip creams except they have a bit of staining to the lips. They go on so smooth but do not dry to a liquid lipstick. And this product doesn't claim to be a liquid lipstick, which is my own fault.

Overall they have a good color selection, decent price, the concept is good, the applicator is good.
Well I go and buy more shades? Probably. Only because I want some of the other shades that NYX doesn't offer (at least at my CVS). The only downside is the fricking smell. I hate it. It also sorta lingers on your lips. I'm actually 50/50. If it was creme brûlée or vanilla sugar or something like that. I would give this 100% but if the smell doesn't bother you, give this a go!

UPDATE: After careful consideration, I had to retun these, the smell was a deal breaker. It lingers and it too strong for my liking. If scent does not bother you, go for it, try one out, I do still think NYX Soft Matte are better.

Crown 35 Metal Eyeshadow Palette REVIEW

This was sent to me from Crown and I was surprised by this. How pretty are the shades? Shimmery shadows are my favorite especially with winged liner. Gives me life.

Let's get into the review shall we?

I was pleasantly surprised with the color selection, has just the right amount of brights, neutral, cool toned, and warm toned I would prefer more warm tones but only because its a personal preference.

This arrived in perfect condition. That is a plus for me. Packaging looks like it should, like the Morphe palettes do but this one is better because it has a big mirror inside which I love!!!

The formula of these shades are pretty good but not consistent. You have some shadows that are buttery and easy to use, and some shadows that are chalky, not all of them but some.

These shadows worked perfect with my MAC Fix + I mean beautiful. This of course did not include a transition shade which wasn't supposed to include one because its an all metal (shimmery) palette.

I do love this palette and the price of this is $22.95 which is a reasonable price for a good selection of shadows. I was super pleased with how pigmented the red shadows was, I don't own one and I was blown away. I give this palette and A-. I like to look for consistency with all the shadows in a palette and this didn't give me one. I mean it was only a few shades like the 2 blue ones, other than that, I recommend it.

Charlotte Tilbury Gold Bar REVIEW

I am a sucker for highlight and packaging, thank +Shelby Lynne for that. When I first seen this on TrendMood1 I knew I had to have it.

So i bought it off Nordstrom, bad experience, won't be buying from there again.

I was so excited to get this after a couple of weeks of ordering this. So stocked.Super disappointed that it didn't come in a box. How weird is that. Also, the packaging is cardboard. Don't let the looks fool you people. This is a bucket full of disappointment.

The inside does make up for the packaging, it is beautifully engraved and it does look like a gold bar. It is really tiny which is a bad thing, it's not like I have ever finished a highlight in my entire life but for whats its worth ($42) I would have to pass.

I tried to photograph a swatch, but since its hard to take a picture of any highlight swatch I didn't include one. I haven't got a good angle of the highlight but it is a pretty highlight. I still do prefer my Becca Champagne Pop over this one.

So yes, as pretty as this may look, it isn't worth the money. I mean look how small it is. The packaging is cardboard, What comes down when reviews a product is of course the product itself but as well as packaging especially for highlights, and this doesn't cut it for me.

Amazing Cosmetics Amazing Concealer REVIEW

I have a review on a concealer which I have been testing out for you guys! I am in the shade Light Honey btw.

You know I like to give good honest reviews. I like to always keep it real. And I'm going to be real. I love to try all aspects in the makeup world. I needed to try concealers. So here it goes for you:

I love full coverage and breathable concealers. This is exactly what it does. Two birds one stone. Amazing and I was impressed.

I didn't think much of this concealers, I haven't heard much about it, but I like to give hidden gems chances for them to shine and this is one of them and you will probably see this on my life of favorite products of 2015!

I did a quick swatch on my arm below and it matched so perfect. And doesn't my arm look airbrushed lol? For one little dot it sure did cover a good amount of area. So as the good saying goes "Less is more" You can odiously see the perfect little spot on my arm, it looks like my skin but better. Imagine that on your face?!

I like to use this as a spot concealer, any redness, or some areas which need some coverage, I like to use this. You really don;t need a special tool or sponge to work this in. Whatever you have is good enough.

Downside: you do not need much to get desired coverage, which is actually a good thing, am I right?

I got the smaller size, and it is $28 and very with the money.

StingRaye, Chilly Chill and Tenny Tiny ColourPop

So I love the Colourpop Ultra Matte lipsticks. Their formulas are pretty good in my experience I haven't been disappointed. So I gave in and bought quite a few. I got Chilly Chill, StingRaye and Tenny Tiny.

I have to say I am beyond upset. I was stocked to find out that MyRayeRaye did a collab with ColourPop and came out with her own shade. A mauvey shade which 'hello" it's up my alley. Wrong. I even thought that they mislabeled StingRaye, but they didn't. Apparently I'm not the only one who noticed this. I love ColourPop but this was a low blow for me.

As soon as it arrived it looked awfully similar to Tenny Tiny (pictured below) so I was hoping they were nothing alike, but they are.
As you can see on the 2nd picture below I have Teeny Tiny, StingRaye and Chilly Chill. Wet they all look identical.
Once dried Tenny Tiny is a bit brown, StingRaye has a hint of mauve and Chilly Chill has a slight hint of plum.

DO NOT GET ALL 3 because to be honest you can hardly tell them apart. If I were to decide on one it would be StingRaye because of that hint of mauve that it has. Also Teeny Tiny seems to not completely dry as fast as the other 2 shades, like it almost has a different formula.

Tartelette 2 In Bloom REVIEW

I was very skeptical when this came out because their Tartelette matte was for me a pass. some shades were hard to work with, seemed chalky and some shadows lacked pigmentation.

I still ordered this palette because that is who I am. I love eyeshadow palettes they are my definite weakness and especially rosy warm tones are my favorite to work with. I got this for around $35 at Ulta i have been saving points so I had to get this.

Let me tell you...this is a must have. It is definitely better than the first one. I find myself reaching for this quite often. It is very pigmented, easy to use, the colors work well with each other. I love this. My favorite shades are:
Charmer-it is perfect for the brow bone.

Funny Girl-I find myself using this shade quite often, it is truly beautiful. It isn't a chunky glitter.

Rebel-my favorite crease shade. This is probably my favorite shade from the whole palette. I have nothing like it and the pigmentation is amazing.

Pros: Good color payoff, price is reasonable, beautiful packaging, big mirror.
Cons: The shadows Activist and Smokeshow look awfully similar, I wished they could have a deeper maroon or purple.

I do recommend this if you're into the rosy shades. I am very picky when it comes to palettes because I know what I like and what to expect from a palette. Not necessarily that it has to be high-end. I look for good quality shadows and color pigmentation and how it blends and packs.

This is so much better than the first one I promise. It is a must have and the palette itself is beautiful. I have used Rebel so much you can hardly see the Tarte imprint lol.

Too Faced Born this Way Foundaiton REVIEW

This is so old news, but I forgot to mention it! Anyways this is a foundation I have been testing out and actually loving for months. This foundation I hear, you either love it or hate it.

This for me is actually medium coverage. This doesn't have a good range of shades to pick from like my Estee Double Wear foundation. This seems more pink toned than the picture actually leads.

I have applied this with a BB and it sheers for a definite medium coverage. I have used this with a buffing brush and its more of a medium to almost full coverage foundation.

This is more of a demi matte foundation, It sorta seems and looks matte but yet demi at the same time which is nice, it's what  I like about it. I sometimes cant seem to decide for either so this is great. I have normal skin so I can actually get away with either, with the correct primer of course.

I got the shade Warm Nude which is a tad darker than what I really like but it seems to do just fine. It is very warm toned which I really don't like because I like yellow toned foundation, not orange.

This has an absolute wear of 6 good hours without primer or setting with powder which is actually pretty impressive. I have used this with the Too Faced Hangover primer which doesn't work too well for me because I got oily really quick.

The glass is absolutely beautiful, frosted glass and a pump. A+ right there. Has no weird scent, oil-free and has its infused with coconut water. If you don't know I love anything coconut.

I do recommend this for normal to dry skinned and I suggest going to Ulta or Sephora to choose your correct shade. Do I love this foundation? Yes, I do. It is very comfortable wearing, I don't get cakey, not too thick it's just right. If you go to the Too Faced website you actually sign up for their email and get 20% off and that would be a great time to get it.

Morphe 35O Palette Review

I like to keep it real. Here is the coveted 35O palette that everyone wants to get their hands on. Here i mine. Mine arrived shattered and some pans had to be glued back in.

As beautiful as this palette is, they have a lot of similar shades like the bottom left hand side look similar. The quality is definitely there no doubt.

So i contacted Morphe because this was ridiculous. I was upset. I have waited about 3 months to get ahold of this palette and for it to arrive like this was beyond upsetting. So I contacted them about the two shadows that need to be replaced and here is what they told me. "Please take a picture of the defected shadow pans and after we observe the damage we might be able to replace the pans, or the palette." Um, I paid $10 for shipping which is absurd and for it to arrive like this.

Talking about this palette. It is very warm toned. They have a mixture of mattes, and shimmery. I see quite a bit of dupes that I already own. For $23 + shipping this is quite a good deal to be honest. I will probably depot the shadows that I like into a Z palette. This is too bulky for me and it has no mirror in the packaging which is a deal breaker for me, JK.

Crown Brushes REVIEW

I get to review these lovely brushes from Crown Brushes. As you can tell I wasted no time using them! They are very soft and easy to use and the brush overall quality is excellent. I checked their website and they are very much affordable.  I forgot to picture one more, but I will mention in that sometime next week,

I have:

C473 Pro Contour-I have got to day these are all very good especially the Pro Contour, this is a very precise brush, super easy to use. It gives me an exact contour and I can contour my nose. This is very soft and blends well. I love this better than my Nars Ita brush.

C410 Flat Concealer- I find that this brush isnt verty good with concealing at all. This is good with smoking my lower lash line. Very soft and I don't poke my eye lol!

C467 Precision Eye Detail- This brush is very precise. I love to use this for applying my liquid lipsticks. It is so darn good. I can outline my lips fill them in. This brush really comes in handy.

C160 - 1/16- love to use this for cleaning up my brows with concealer. It is nice and stiff which is perfect. I also clean around my lips for a perfect pout.

CC3330 Pro Blending Crease-this brush is very soft, but I find it too soft to blend away any  crease shadows. I can blend away my transition shadows but definitely no dark shades with this brush.

Overall I give this a solid 8. Price point is an A+, Quality is an A, Presentation is an A. These are super affordable so I suggest you try them out. I have to say I will be making a purchase, and if I have to recommend which brushes to pick it would be for sure the Pro Contour and the C467. I love products that get the job done without using more brushes.

These products were kindly sent to me, I chose to do a review, these are always my opinion, and my thoughts and opinions are always genuine.

Self Made by Anastasia Beverly Hills

I had to get this beauty, I make it a habit on trying to get her palettes. I adore them. I am not so much into the packaging. It's nothing fancy and whatnot. It's just basic.

The attraction is on the inside. So many beautiful shades the one thing is that I see 2 shadows that are repeats from my other palettes. Pink Champagne and Buttery. I don't like repeat shadows.

I think from all my 2'previous palettes I own I would have to say this one is my favorite.  So many looks you can create with this. You can go either safe, bold, dramatic whatever you would like, there's one deal breaker. Where's my transition shade at? Hot Chocolate doesn't cut it for me. Yes it's matte but it also contains glitter.

I also noticed that it contained 2 more shadows that the other palettes. Also I do not like Buttery. It's is a weird light custard shadow that I try not to work with.

My favorites shadows are Metallic Plum, Islam, Blossom, Blush and Deep Purple.

It also contained the brush that not fond of. It works just okay.

Overall I do love this palette. It's beautiful somewhat colorful with shadows that I could actually see myself using.

Luxie Beauty REVIEW!

As many of you may about Luxie beauty here comes a review! As always these are my true thoughts!

I first heard about Luxie brushes probably watching a Youtube video, and when I first got one was from Ipsy Glam bag. i received the Tapered Blending brush which happens to be the best blending brush I have ever used. It is my most used brush I own. Real talk.

I have 2 more to add to my Luxie collection. Lets jump in.

I have the 209 Large Shader brush and the 215 Small Angle Brush.

209 Large Shader brush: It is exactly like its called. A large shader brush. It is best usded for applying shadow onto the lid. Ive used this a couple times with different types of eyeshadows, from pressed pigments, loose pigments and Colourpop shadows.

Verdict. It is best used for  pressed and loose pigments. Especially if you're going to foil a shimmery shadow it is amazing. On the weekend I used Solstice from UD and usually with shimmery shadows I spray some Mac Fix + and when I do that the shadow usually runs down the sides of the brush. Not with this brush. Its actually nice and stiff and easy to apply my foiled shadows. This is a must have.

215 Small Angle Brush: this is obviously an angles brush which can be used for several things like gel lining, wing lining and using for them eyebrows. I used this brush two ways. Gel lining- using it to create my usual winged liner and using this with my ABH dipbrow.

Verdict: This brush is very soft that it was very difficult to create a winged liner using gel. The bristles are much soft for that. However when I used this with my ABH dipbrow I got different results. This actually works really good filing in my brows. I have almost full brows with of course some sparse spots this works really good filling them in without looking too harsh.

Overall using these Luxie brushes I would have to highly recommend them. They are a much better quality than Sigma and Morphe (I own brushes from both). These brushes are indeed soft, and whats important is how good the performed.

Overall everything I have received I was pleasantly pleased. It's nice to use products that will be used and not collect dust! I will for sure be purchasing the 12 piece brush set!

They are vegan free and of course synthetic for those who only use cruelty free products, we can all be rest assured not a single animal was hurt! I also have a 20% off coupon code : BELLAM at http://luxiebeauty.com/?aff=46

These products were sent to me. These are my one and only thoughts! You know I keep it real :) and special thanks to Christina Luxie. :)
I also got these lashes in the style Foxy. These are actually natural style which are great for everyday use. They are my kind of lashes since I'm more of a natural lash kind of gal!

Tarte Stroke of Midnight Brush Set

These brushes are LE and please get to a Sephora and take a look at these. I got these during the friends and family 20% sale at Sephora and these are so adorable!!!

The sequins makeup case is stunning. I usually don't like sequins at all but they outdid themselves and it's so pretty. The color selection is divine.

The gold handles look super pretty and not cheap as far as these brushes work let's go right in.

The brush set included:

Concealer Brush-I ised it for concealer brush and this doesn't work for that whatsoever. It's not dense enough to help blend out the concealer it's more soft. It is a great alternative as a small angle brush and this gives a nice use as contour brush since its angled.

Eyeshadow Brush-this works quite well, a shader brush if we must and it works well with eyeshadows and especially ColourPop shadows.

Complexion Brush-this brush is so good for picking up a small amount of blush and help diffuse color with just a nice natural flush. It actually is quite dense.

Blush Brush-this is a flimsy brush. It's too soft and serves as no purpose. It's actually very disappointing. There's no way you can pick up blush and apply it to your cheeks. It's too soft and flimsy. Fail.

Tarte the Buffer Airbrush Finish Foundation Brush-star of the show. I have been using this since I've washed my brushes. It's absolutely worth it. This is very soft and dense and my foundation actually looks flawless. I love love love this foundation brush. It's quite nice finding a new Holy Grail.

This set is an absolute must have! This formula is very creamy and is not as drying as other liquid lipsticks longwear is alright maybe a good 4 hours including eating drinking and a few kisses :D

The set has basically every shade you could possibly need and the best part with these is you can mix them to create your own custom shade!

Caramello- a cool toned nude that for me I will need a liner or I will look weird, least favorite for me because it's a very light nude.

Patina- a beautiful dusty rose

shade and my favorite one from this set

Como- very vibrant violet. Very pretty

Chianti- a very deep plum that is perfect for this time of year or anytime if you're bold like me! A perfect vampy shade!

Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Facial Wash REVIEW

So the Body Shop was so generous to send me some samples to try out! (They weren't sent to me for a review) they sent me quite a few items, they were generous!

They included these 2 items below and I have to say I am super pleased!! I in fact love them.

Tea tree is known for helping any acne you may have. When your first get them there's no directions which I was bummed because I like to read them but they were of course self explanatory.

The facial wash I use daily after removing my makeup and this has a strong scent like Pinesol, but as soon as I massage this into my face I get a tingle sensation which feels heavenly. I just work into my skin for about 2 minutes and wash off with warm water.

This makes my face feel squeaky clean which is odd because it has no beads. Within 1 week I seen my whiteheads start to disappear and my face looked more clean and healthy.

I don't know if this helps with any whiteheads or blackheads but for some odd reason it helped me.

This really does work so good my husband uses the oil for spot treatment and he said it seems to work very good. We are both very much into skin care and we were so pleased with these products!

The oil can be used for so many things I will be adding couple of drops into my kids shampoo so it will help keep the lice off!

(This was a review I did willingly without getting paid, Body Shop did send me these to tryout)

Milani LE Amore Liquid Lipsticks REVIEW

It's been long awaited I know and I haven't personally posted anything I've reviewed about so here's one.

So everyone was on the hunt for these liquid lipsticks and so was I.

They had 8 shades so I picked up 4 of what I thought suited me best and they were: Adore, Lust, Beloved and Embrace.

Formula- these seemed super easy to apply because of the doe foot applicator which I appreciate because it helps so much since its stiff you get better control and precise. They had a vanilla frosting scent which I love and it isnt overwhelming.

When they set, I found that some are streaky like Adore and Embrace which to me are very common in berry to darker shades. I needed at least 2 good coats for color payoff which is okay because they are pretty pigmented. I also found that they are very drying and almost makes my lips looked chapped even if they aren't so make sure to have good moisturized lips!

The price was decent at $5.99 at CVS which was great, they have a nice light scent and the color selection was pretty descent. Would I buy these again? Yes. They are very nice, but you also need to make sure your lips aren't dry and chapped. Apply a nice thin layer of lip balm and you should be good to go!
