Tartelette 2 In Bloom REVIEW

I was very skeptical when this came out because their Tartelette matte was for me a pass. some shades were hard to work with, seemed chalky and some shadows lacked pigmentation.

I still ordered this palette because that is who I am. I love eyeshadow palettes they are my definite weakness and especially rosy warm tones are my favorite to work with. I got this for around $35 at Ulta i have been saving points so I had to get this.

Let me tell you...this is a must have. It is definitely better than the first one. I find myself reaching for this quite often. It is very pigmented, easy to use, the colors work well with each other. I love this. My favorite shades are:
Charmer-it is perfect for the brow bone.

Funny Girl-I find myself using this shade quite often, it is truly beautiful. It isn't a chunky glitter.

Rebel-my favorite crease shade. This is probably my favorite shade from the whole palette. I have nothing like it and the pigmentation is amazing.

Pros: Good color payoff, price is reasonable, beautiful packaging, big mirror.
Cons: The shadows Activist and Smokeshow look awfully similar, I wished they could have a deeper maroon or purple.

I do recommend this if you're into the rosy shades. I am very picky when it comes to palettes because I know what I like and what to expect from a palette. Not necessarily that it has to be high-end. I look for good quality shadows and color pigmentation and how it blends and packs.

This is so much better than the first one I promise. It is a must have and the palette itself is beautiful. I have used Rebel so much you can hardly see the Tarte imprint lol.

Morphe 35O Palette Review

I like to keep it real. Here is the coveted 35O palette that everyone wants to get their hands on. Here i mine. Mine arrived shattered and some pans had to be glued back in.

As beautiful as this palette is, they have a lot of similar shades like the bottom left hand side look similar. The quality is definitely there no doubt.

So i contacted Morphe because this was ridiculous. I was upset. I have waited about 3 months to get ahold of this palette and for it to arrive like this was beyond upsetting. So I contacted them about the two shadows that need to be replaced and here is what they told me. "Please take a picture of the defected shadow pans and after we observe the damage we might be able to replace the pans, or the palette." Um, I paid $10 for shipping which is absurd and for it to arrive like this.

Talking about this palette. It is very warm toned. They have a mixture of mattes, and shimmery. I see quite a bit of dupes that I already own. For $23 + shipping this is quite a good deal to be honest. I will probably depot the shadows that I like into a Z palette. This is too bulky for me and it has no mirror in the packaging which is a deal breaker for me, JK.

Self Made by Anastasia Beverly Hills

I had to get this beauty, I make it a habit on trying to get her palettes. I adore them. I am not so much into the packaging. It's nothing fancy and whatnot. It's just basic.

The attraction is on the inside. So many beautiful shades the one thing is that I see 2 shadows that are repeats from my other palettes. Pink Champagne and Buttery. I don't like repeat shadows.

I think from all my 2'previous palettes I own I would have to say this one is my favorite.  So many looks you can create with this. You can go either safe, bold, dramatic whatever you would like, there's one deal breaker. Where's my transition shade at? Hot Chocolate doesn't cut it for me. Yes it's matte but it also contains glitter.

I also noticed that it contained 2 more shadows that the other palettes. Also I do not like Buttery. It's is a weird light custard shadow that I try not to work with.

My favorites shadows are Metallic Plum, Islam, Blossom, Blush and Deep Purple.

It also contained the brush that not fond of. It works just okay.

Overall I do love this palette. It's beautiful somewhat colorful with shadows that I could actually see myself using.

Luxie Beauty REVIEW!

As many of you may about Luxie beauty here comes a review! As always these are my true thoughts!

I first heard about Luxie brushes probably watching a Youtube video, and when I first got one was from Ipsy Glam bag. i received the Tapered Blending brush which happens to be the best blending brush I have ever used. It is my most used brush I own. Real talk.

I have 2 more to add to my Luxie collection. Lets jump in.

I have the 209 Large Shader brush and the 215 Small Angle Brush.

209 Large Shader brush: It is exactly like its called. A large shader brush. It is best usded for applying shadow onto the lid. Ive used this a couple times with different types of eyeshadows, from pressed pigments, loose pigments and Colourpop shadows.

Verdict. It is best used for  pressed and loose pigments. Especially if you're going to foil a shimmery shadow it is amazing. On the weekend I used Solstice from UD and usually with shimmery shadows I spray some Mac Fix + and when I do that the shadow usually runs down the sides of the brush. Not with this brush. Its actually nice and stiff and easy to apply my foiled shadows. This is a must have.

215 Small Angle Brush: this is obviously an angles brush which can be used for several things like gel lining, wing lining and using for them eyebrows. I used this brush two ways. Gel lining- using it to create my usual winged liner and using this with my ABH dipbrow.

Verdict: This brush is very soft that it was very difficult to create a winged liner using gel. The bristles are much soft for that. However when I used this with my ABH dipbrow I got different results. This actually works really good filing in my brows. I have almost full brows with of course some sparse spots this works really good filling them in without looking too harsh.

Overall using these Luxie brushes I would have to highly recommend them. They are a much better quality than Sigma and Morphe (I own brushes from both). These brushes are indeed soft, and whats important is how good the performed.

Overall everything I have received I was pleasantly pleased. It's nice to use products that will be used and not collect dust! I will for sure be purchasing the 12 piece brush set!

They are vegan free and of course synthetic for those who only use cruelty free products, we can all be rest assured not a single animal was hurt! I also have a 20% off coupon code : BELLAM at http://luxiebeauty.com/?aff=46

These products were sent to me. These are my one and only thoughts! You know I keep it real :) and special thanks to Christina Luxie. :)
I also got these lashes in the style Foxy. These are actually natural style which are great for everyday use. They are my kind of lashes since I'm more of a natural lash kind of gal!

Solstice by Urban Decay

Okay so when I seen Boom Boom Room from MAC I needed to have it!!! Then my fear of sold out was right in my face. I frantically checked for "dupes" and came across 2 other. Metamorphosis quad by CoffeebreakwithDani in the shade Kindness and Moondust eyeshadow in Solstice. Since ColourPop isn't my favorite brand I went with UD and I was very much happy with that decision. When it arrived today you better believe this woman was happy!! This color is unlike any other I have ever come across!

It appears to be that typical blue brown that everyone loves but it's nothing close to that. It's best described as a metallic brownish burgundy with green 3D sparkles. It's actually hard to describe the shade. It's beautiful and I just wanted to share!

It is more of a chunky eyeshadow not smooth, I used a primer and MAC Fix + to create a look and I just did one eye so yeah lol. This is $20 at UD, Utla and Sephora. If you want a budget friendly one go with Colourpop it comes with 3 other shades but it's less pigmented.

Blushed Nudes by Maybelline

I have been waiting for this product like nobody's business. I thought this is for sure an alternative for UD Naked 3 which I don't even touch (how sad). This was true huge display hey had at my Walmart which is weird they were by the pads and shampoo. If I wouldn't have turned to go that direction I would have missed it. This retailed $9.98 plus tax of course. I thought to myself "Do I need this knowing I have the Naked 3 sitting at home" and the answer is always yes!

I took it home and immediately noticed how alike they were and that's good because this palette is beyond affordable. This palette is a lot better than the other 2 palettes they had which where a flop because they were so chalky and overrated by the YouTubers as always. So this formulation to this is so much better. Feels like a normal shadow, some shades are actually buttery and that I love. Once swatched and compared to the UD Naked 3 I swear they are identical shade wise. The last shade the back with the specs of purple are a bit different and it's not as pigmented as the UD Naked 3.

I really like this palette and I think it's a definite dupe for the Naked 3 shade wise. Of course the texture and pigmentation are not the same but some good brushes maybe some primer and maybe some Fix + will definitely do this palette some justice!

What's New for Wet n' Wild?

While I was at Wal-Greens out buying milk, that store is so close to me I swear, I seen quite a bit of things, starting with their new brow pencil they have out, which i picked up from Wal-Mart except here they had a display, cute btw, and the brow pencils came with stencils which is neat for some people who have trouble shaping their brows and they have 4 different shades, whereas Wal-Mart they had only 3.

They also had a St. Patricks themed display with nail polishes and shadow trio, I think the mascara is also new, i'm not sure, I've never seen it and they had their .99 cents pencils.
Silver Lake Color Icon eyeshadow plaettes have fun spring colors, California Roll is probably one I will be purchasing, that but I am seriously not going to because I have no room for it! The second row right shade reminds me of creme brulee from MUG, maybe dupe?
