L'OREAL Pro Glow Foundation REVIEW

Hey! Its been a while since ive blogged about something. SO sorry about that! Will try and do it more frequently, I promise.

Before we get into this foundation, I have to say I have reviewed and tested this for over a month to get a feel for this foundation.

I had also selected several shades, I had a horrible time picking a shade not because of the limited selection but it was because I somehow chose a lighter shade on Ulta's website.

But nonetheless I chose the correct shade. I felt that shade 204 is just about right.

I have to say this is very dewy and very beautiful. I find that it is a good medium coverage and I feel it can be buidlable to full coverage.

I find this wears a good 8 hours while I'm at work, I do find it to get a little oily towards the end of the 8 hours but nothing some powder can't fix. It was super easy to use and work with, either a Beauty Blender or a foundation brush works just as good, of course a BB will apply a bit more sheer. This has got to be the best drugstore foundation I have ever used, wait I mean foundation period.

I have normal skin and I find that this makes me look glowy and beautiful. You can apply an all over powder and I find that it doesn't take away the glow. I LOVE this foundation you guys. The color selection wasn't the best it was okay but if you happen to find your shade I do think you need to try this. Also real quick, this doesn't feel dry and cakey as it shouldn't nor do I feel that it slides off or moves around.

I HIGHLY recommend this foundation. Just as good as my Too Faced Born This Way foundation, I actually stopped using it because I love this a tad more, or maybe a lot more.

Milani Conceal + Perfect Foundation REVIEW

I was very skeptical doing this review because I hate doing reviews on products that didn't work for me but I have to report my duty in letting you know how I feel about this.

First and foremost the shade selection was the worst. I normally get like the 3rd shade in other foundation lines because I ain't that fair. I'm a light medium. So I naturally went with 02 Natural. It looked orange to me and on me.

I appreciate the pump. Also This is meant for oily skinned gals. I'm normal skin and this clung to things I didn't know I had. It looked super cakey on my face. I tried many methods of applying this and used different primers and none seemed to satisfy me,

This is a good medium coverage and possible a full coverage foundation. I should have mixed some Argan oil with this, but I shouldn't have to do that. This was a fail for me. I didn't take a photo of my own bottle because I was disappointed in it,

But below are my swatches. Look how orange it is. I think nothing compares to my Too Faced Born This Way foundation and there are some people they claim that these are dupes for each other no they are not the Milani one is very thick whereas a Too Faced is a little bit more liquidy.

Not my photo.

Too Faced Born this Way Foundaiton REVIEW

This is so old news, but I forgot to mention it! Anyways this is a foundation I have been testing out and actually loving for months. This foundation I hear, you either love it or hate it.

This for me is actually medium coverage. This doesn't have a good range of shades to pick from like my Estee Double Wear foundation. This seems more pink toned than the picture actually leads.

I have applied this with a BB and it sheers for a definite medium coverage. I have used this with a buffing brush and its more of a medium to almost full coverage foundation.

This is more of a demi matte foundation, It sorta seems and looks matte but yet demi at the same time which is nice, it's what  I like about it. I sometimes cant seem to decide for either so this is great. I have normal skin so I can actually get away with either, with the correct primer of course.

I got the shade Warm Nude which is a tad darker than what I really like but it seems to do just fine. It is very warm toned which I really don't like because I like yellow toned foundation, not orange.

This has an absolute wear of 6 good hours without primer or setting with powder which is actually pretty impressive. I have used this with the Too Faced Hangover primer which doesn't work too well for me because I got oily really quick.

The glass is absolutely beautiful, frosted glass and a pump. A+ right there. Has no weird scent, oil-free and has its infused with coconut water. If you don't know I love anything coconut.

I do recommend this for normal to dry skinned and I suggest going to Ulta or Sephora to choose your correct shade. Do I love this foundation? Yes, I do. It is very comfortable wearing, I don't get cakey, not too thick it's just right. If you go to the Too Faced website you actually sign up for their email and get 20% off and that would be a great time to get it.

Nars Luminous Foundation: Ceylan Final Thoughts

I have used this for a good sold week. Ever since I changed my birth control from a hormonal one to a non-hormonal one, my acne is starting to diminish and so has my oiliness, (thank goodness). I have waited for a while to purchase this because I wasn't sure how my skin and face was going to be, I was hoping it would clear up, and it did! Enough of that talk, my face is more of the normal and could be a bit oily on the t-zone area, but that's torwards the end of the night. Anyways, I have used a Beauty Blender, my Sigma F82 (Round Kabuki) and my Real Techniques Buffing Brush to get a good feel on what method was going to apply better, and I will have to say for me the Sigma F82 has worked very good.

The foundation itself is runny, not too thick, but it does set really quick, and I recommend you use a primer, I have the feeling it can cling on to any dry patches, especially around the nose where it's a little dry due to cold weather, I got maybe a shade just a bit light but after I contour and use blush it looks beautiful on me, this for me is a dry foundation, if that makes sense. It looks dry as soon as you apply it but soon after it starts to work its magic, and I forgot to mention this is full coverage, and I swear you need more than 1 1/2 pumps, a little goes a long way, so this is worth every penny. I have had no problems with it, it looks beautiful one me, the shade is right on, I do recommend this if you have normal to maybe combination skin. I have had no problems with it being too oily or too dry, it's just perfect, I love it and I have been reaching for it a lot, but now I feel bad because yesterday i used my fave foundation True Match and it just couldn't compare because I am in love with the Nars that True Match couldn't compare, and I do no mean by any means think that they are even comparable, plus the True Match make me look super oily which is so odd,

Sorry for the long ass post, those are my exact though on this foundation, yes I recommend it, I love it, yes it's quite pricey but a little product goes a very long mile.

Maybelline FITME Matte + Poreless

I have got to say, when this came out, I was kind of iffy about it, since the original "Dewy"version was a flop for me. So i bought this in a couple shades lighter because my shade is orange on me, so the color selection is a flop, so I got the correct shade and it has a nice yellow undertone to it. So I noticed when I applied this, it started to smooth out my skin, and it didn't sink into my pores, meaning that it didn't look gross. And yes this is matte! I am very impressed with this foundation! I highly recommend it especially if you have oily skin! I really love this foundation, I do wish they had a good color selection like the L'OREAL True Match. but other than that, get it.

L'OREAL Infallible Pro-Matte Line and Lipglosses.

I love when new stuff come out especially if they are amazing. I have oily prone skin, you  might know this from my previous posts. I was excited to see this come out from L'OREAl, especially because I love the True Match. So when I seen this I was excited.

The foundation is supposed to be Demi-Matte Finish and Air-Light, Oil-Free. Hm I like what I read so far. This foundation is liquidy, almost just like the True Match. It has an odd smell to it, but tolerable, it definenly is a medium coverage, and it dries real quick. On the back it says to apply to skin in a rolling motion, whatever that means. The powder, just like any other powder, 16-HR Matte finish, yes it is matte, but Im not sure if to combine the two, especially if they are both supposed to help you be matte. I fear of looking cakey.

The new lip products do not have a name to them. They had several colors and i picked up Neverending Nutmeg, and Everlasting Carmel, this dries really quick to last long im assuming, and it also is dual ended that comes with a balm to apply over so it not to dry. It has no smell to them, it's okay. Not too impressed with it, they are nicely pigmented though.

Estee Double Wear and Nars Sheer Matte

Everyone has raved over the Estee Double Wear foundation, I wanted to see what the hype was so silly me, I purchased it. Little did I know I was hating it. It clung on to dry patches that I didn't know existed. Epic Fail.Which proves that just because it works on 100,000 people it won't work for me. I wanted to love it desperately, so I used a different primer, nope. It actually accentuated my acne lol, I did not love it at all no matter what others said.

Back to Sephora. I was desperately looking for a foundation suited to my needs. Matte finish, wearable, yellow toned, Nars Sheer Matte in Barcelona was recommended to me. Well OK, I thought, let's try this again. Came home tried it on, and BOOM. This was the one! Light-weight, medium coverage, perfect shade. No how was the long wear for my oily skin. It lasted about maybe 4-6 hours before the oily started to shine on. That was fairly decent. I love this foundtion. Staple, I am loving it and repurchasing this,

Point of this is, is that, just because it works for half the world, you can be part of the other half of the world that may not work for you. GO for what works for you, research it. Pro's and Con's ladies!

P.S The Estee Lauder had a weird floral smell to it that did not fly with me.
