L'OREAL Pro Glow Foundation REVIEW

Hey! Its been a while since ive blogged about something. SO sorry about that! Will try and do it more frequently, I promise.

Before we get into this foundation, I have to say I have reviewed and tested this for over a month to get a feel for this foundation.

I had also selected several shades, I had a horrible time picking a shade not because of the limited selection but it was because I somehow chose a lighter shade on Ulta's website.

But nonetheless I chose the correct shade. I felt that shade 204 is just about right.

I have to say this is very dewy and very beautiful. I find that it is a good medium coverage and I feel it can be buidlable to full coverage.

I find this wears a good 8 hours while I'm at work, I do find it to get a little oily towards the end of the 8 hours but nothing some powder can't fix. It was super easy to use and work with, either a Beauty Blender or a foundation brush works just as good, of course a BB will apply a bit more sheer. This has got to be the best drugstore foundation I have ever used, wait I mean foundation period.

I have normal skin and I find that this makes me look glowy and beautiful. You can apply an all over powder and I find that it doesn't take away the glow. I LOVE this foundation you guys. The color selection wasn't the best it was okay but if you happen to find your shade I do think you need to try this. Also real quick, this doesn't feel dry and cakey as it shouldn't nor do I feel that it slides off or moves around.

I HIGHLY recommend this foundation. Just as good as my Too Faced Born This Way foundation, I actually stopped using it because I love this a tad more, or maybe a lot more.

Loreal True Match Lumi Cushion REVIEW

The compact packaging is absolutely pretty! Lets get into the review!

I noticed this was expensive AF and I was very hesitant to purchase this so I went and got it at Wal-mart for $14.

I have to address one thing here, the sponge applicator was difficult to use and since  I am reviewing this product I will be including the sponge.
I am in the shade W3

The sponge has that little finger handle thing where you are supposed to slide your finders into to apply the foundation and that was dreadful. IT had too much space that I couldn't comfortably apply the foundation on.

The foundation itself was so pretty on! It does give a nice natural finish to the face, it has a nice luminous finish. It is literally perfect for everyday use!

Here is the thing, I find the price is too much for this. If I wanted a nice natural foundation I am better off thinning my foundation and/or applying it using a BB (which helps thin out most foundations) I am a firm Tarte Airbrush Finish Foundation brush because it gives more coverage and I literally look flawless.
If I would get two of these at the price of $14 I can almost get my favorite Too Faced Born this way foundation which happens to be my favorite HG foundation ever!

The coverage to me seems sheer it covers minor imperfections.  I know because I currently use Too Faced foundation and that is a good medium coverage, full coverage would most definitely be the KVD Lock It foundation. I love the whole concept of the light and luminous it gives and this gives a good 4 hour wear for me considering I have normal skin.

Overall I do not think this foundation is worth the $14. Maybe I am  not an everyday foundation user or it could be that if I wear foundation Im going the whole nine yards. (You know what I mean?! lol) Unless it was buy one get one 50% off then I would repurchase this. I found this best used with my Tarte brush!

L'OREAL Pro Matte Gloss REVIEW

I love liquid lipsticks, and Loreal is a good brand especially their Pro-Matte line. I got the shade 316 Statement Nude.

Beautiful dusty rose shade reminded me of Lolita from KVD. First impression was the horrendous scent it had, just like their lipsticks, same scent.

It also has a unique applicator. Not bendy its stiff easy to use. The formula is great, very creamy, very pigmented, everything is there,

The only thing is that this isn' a liquid lipstick. I knew it wasn't, but still needed to try it out. It is just a gloss that doesn't have that glossy look. It is also a thick gloss, not really goopy just thick.

This was about $9.99 and the scent is really strong that it will be going back. This was my fault I should have know it came with a scent. It smells like perfume and I found that it lingers. If scent doesn't bother you and you like gloss you should try these. These are okay, nothing different about them. I would rather stick with ColourPop Lippie Stix because they are affordable, not scented and lot of shades to pick from!

It is pricey for a gloss. I don't recommend t hese, the shades were all in the pink shades, no nudes.

Loreal Brow Stylist Definer REVIEW

Ladies and Gents: We have found a good brow pencil.

When I seen this at Wal-Greens while getting some milk, I was like yes, come with me, Let me test you out.

They had the 3 usual shades. (I don't know them right now, sorry!) So I picked up the darkest shade which is Dark Brunette.

Below you will see the comparisons between the ABH Brow Wiz and the NYX Micro Brow. It has a fine point, spooley, It is in between the Brow Wiz and the Mico Brow as far as fomula goes, its smooth and somewhat waxy. not as smooth as the Brow Wiz and not as waxy as the Micro Brow, it's in between.

I am already in love with this. This is a must have. It was about $8.99 at Wal-greens probably cheaper when it hits Wal-Mart. I am overall pleased, Highly pleased, It came in my perfect shade easy to use and the spooley isn't too bad.

I will pick this up for my makeup bag. Take it with me everywhere. I've never had a problem with these brow pencils to budge or fade but it's the thought.
(I don't like to carry high-end products in fear of losing them, meaning I love all my high-end products and affordable, but if I were to lose an affordable product I could easily buy it and is accessible to me!)

For reference I am in Ebony in ABH and Black in NYX.

Revlon & L'OREAL Spring Nail Polishes

Spring colors for L'OREAL and top coats from Revlon, how fun!! The L'OREAL 733 is little flowers top coat! I wanted to get it but other stuff were important. As far as for Revlon they are 'transforming effects" and yes they are top coats. How neat!

L'OREAL Infallible Pro-Matte Line and Lipglosses.

I love when new stuff come out especially if they are amazing. I have oily prone skin, you  might know this from my previous posts. I was excited to see this come out from L'OREAl, especially because I love the True Match. So when I seen this I was excited.

The foundation is supposed to be Demi-Matte Finish and Air-Light, Oil-Free. Hm I like what I read so far. This foundation is liquidy, almost just like the True Match. It has an odd smell to it, but tolerable, it definenly is a medium coverage, and it dries real quick. On the back it says to apply to skin in a rolling motion, whatever that means. The powder, just like any other powder, 16-HR Matte finish, yes it is matte, but Im not sure if to combine the two, especially if they are both supposed to help you be matte. I fear of looking cakey.

The new lip products do not have a name to them. They had several colors and i picked up Neverending Nutmeg, and Everlasting Carmel, this dries really quick to last long im assuming, and it also is dual ended that comes with a balm to apply over so it not to dry. It has no smell to them, it's okay. Not too impressed with it, they are nicely pigmented though.

Battle of the Brows.

This summer-winter has been a big imporve in the brow departments by a lot. Yes they have brow pencils, but finally they have brow gels, These are 3 that came out this year, they are each different in every way. Let's get started.
Maybelline Brow Drama: They have 3 colors, Blonde, Soft Brown and Dark Brown. It obviously has a ball shaped brush, I do not know what purpose it serves, and then it has a thin brush like handle to it, and I don't know what the purpose of that is. If you have full brows, this might be okay for you, it is a big no-no for sparse brows, it lighlty tints them and these make your brows flake, like no, that is not what I want.
L'OREAL Brow Stylist Plumper: They have 3 shades, Blonde, Dark Brunette and Transparent. It has a nice small brush for your brows, easy to apply, it really combs the brows and does an okay job in setting them, very similar to Benefit Gimme Brows as far as the brush shape goes. This does a wonderful job filling in the sparse areas. I highly recommend this. it is also nice having a transparent shade, especially for those who prefer to style their brows their way and just need to set them down. I really love this product.
Hard Candy Brows Now!: This has two shades: Blonde and Dark Brown, this product also comes with a highlight end to highlight your brow bone which is nice but I have never used it since its way too shimmery for my taste. This brush contains fibers for a more natural look and to help achieve an arch, which in my opinion does no good, a little too scratchy if you have sparse brows, this contains too much product on the brush even if you try and scrape it off, this also makes your brows look way too dark, nothing natural about it. It claims to be buildable for natural looking brows. I literally have to wipe the brush off because it contains to much product, in my opinion.

So from Best to Worst: L'OREAL, Maybeline and Hard Candy.

Setting Sprays in the Drugstore, About Time.

Is anyone else happy about this? What about the price, it is priced at $16.99? Is it maybe a bit pricey? Let's talk. For the amount it has it is a half fraction of the price that the Urban Decay setting spray is, and as we must know L'OREAL owns Urban Decay except Urban Decay is higher-end, animal cruelty and again high-end. So does this live up to its expectations, of course it does. It sprays out quite a bit, so I suggest maybe 3 sprays should do the job, it also a light pleasant smell, and don't worry it does not linger.

I also happy that this is the first setting spray for the drugstore, well actually E.L.F has one out and I have no words for it since I don't really care for it. But Im glad someone is stepping up to the plate when it comes to this. Thank-you for joining the bandwagon!
